Dr. Pavan Kumar Jonnada is a surgical oncologist working at Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital and Research Institute, Hyderabad.
Following his Post Graduation in General Surgery, he worked at the world-renowned Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Bengaluru-the largest referral center for cancer care in South India, for a period of 3 years, during which he did his M.Ch Surgical Oncology.
He is the recipient of the prestigious Fellow of the European Board of Surgery, Surgical Oncology from the European Society of Surgical Oncology.
His current field of interest is gastrointestinal oncology involving colorectal, esophagogastric and hepatopancreatic biliary surgery and gynecological, thoracic and breast surgery. He is formally trained in laparoscopic and robotic surgeries and performs a wide range of surgeries and reconstructions.
He has multiple publications in collaboration with National and International surgeons in various National and International journals with a particular interest in research and refinement of the existing surgical principles.
